Confession: I am a serial demo grabber.

In my haste to obtain demos, I sometimes get click happy and click the wrong thing.  The dress I'm wearing was the result of one of those occasions.  Fortunately, it turned out for the best.

A Formal Occasion

My good friend, Brian recently got married and since he wanted to invite me personally, it left me with a mere couple of hours to put an outfit together.  The few formal outfits in my inventory were too... 'flouncy' and I wanted a more 'elegant chic' look for such a special occasion.

As soon as I found THE dress at overhigh, I knew exactly what else I needed.  Marketplace was my friend that day in my mad rush to find the fitting gold accessories.  I'm proud of the look I achieved in such a short time. If I'm honest... I loved the challenge!

I LOVE hunting.  It's a great way to find new (to me) brands.  This cute skirt from REIGN was a gift for the Jack or Jill hunt.  I took a few snaps while on another hunt - the Vincue & Pekka sim opening hunt.

A very scenic shopping sim indeed.

Embracing the Inner Goddess

I fell in love with this hair from D!va which made me feel like presenting myself as the goddess I truly am. I found an older dress from Kyoot in my inventory that fit the bill very nicely.  Mesh is not always best. These floaty, flexi prims give the dress an ethereal quality - and make me feel all fancy as I wander around!

Mayumi3 comes with an HUD to adjust the colours and placement of the flowers and I love the wispy tendrils of hair which give the hair a realistic and natural look.
